Bakersfield Country Music Awards
On November 12, 2017, Johnny Owens and the Buck Fever Band performed at the Bakersfield Country Music Awards Show held in Bakersfield and organized by Terry Keplinger, son of the late" Jolly" Jodi Keplinger of Jolly Jodi and the Go-Daddies. Johnny was honored for his family's and his contributions to the Bakersfield Sound. The group performed 10 songs and had a wonderful time. Also receiving awards from the band were Ronnie Smith and Vern Monnett. It was a very special night for all who attended.
